WHAT IS A 'BABY DEDICATION' AND WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?

A Baby Dedication is a special service of prayer and commitment between parents and children, before God and their church. By dedicating a child, a parent vows to follow God's plan in Scripture for raising children, and to lead their child to love and follow Jesus.

During our normal Worship Service, we will hold a special ceremony representing the commitment between families and the church to raise Christ–centred children who live to love God and love others. Baby Dedications offer families an opportunity to build strong families and raise Godly children. It is a celebration that recognises your child is a gift from God and makes public the church’s commitment to your family and your family’s commitment to Christ.
